Refund & Return Policy
At Mohana Jewels, every piece is crafted with care and shipped with the trust that it will become part of something lasting. If your purchase doesn't feel right, this policy outlines how returns, refunds, and cancellations work.
1. Return Window
You may request a return within 30 days of the delivery date. Returns requested after 30 days will not be accepted.
2. Condition of Returned Items
To be eligible for a return, items must be:
- Unworn, unused, and in original condition
- Returned in their original packaging
- Accompanied by all certificates, documentation, and accessories included with the original order
- Free of any signs of wear, damage, alteration, or resizing
Items showing any signs of use or alteration are not eligible for return and will be sent back to the customer at their expense.
3. Restocking Fee
A 10% restocking fee applies to all approved returns. This fee is deducted from the refund amount and covers the cost of inspection, recertification, and restocking.
4. Shipping Costs
Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is the result of an error on our part or a defective item. We strongly recommend using an insured, trackable shipping method, as Mohana Jewels is not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.
5. Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled within 48 hours of placement at no charge by emailing us at support@mohanajewels.com. After 48 hours, your piece has entered production and the order can no longer be cancelled.
6. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different piece, please return your original order following the steps below and place a new order separately.
7. Lifetime Warranty
Every Mohana Jewels piece is backed by our lifetime limited warranty against manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover damage from wear, impact, accident, chemicals, unauthorized repair, or loss. See our Warranty page for full coverage details and how to make a claim.
8. Final Sale Items
The following items are final sale and cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged:
- Custom and made-to-order pieces
- Engraved or personalized items
- Items marked as "Final Sale" at the time of purchase
- Resized rings or items modified at the customer's request
9. How to Request a Return
To initiate a return, please email support@mohanajewels.com within 30 days of delivery, including:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you wish to return
- The reason for the return
Once approved, you will receive return instructions and a return authorization. Returns sent without prior authorization will not be accepted.
10. Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund (less the 10% restocking fee and original shipping costs) will be issued to your original payment method within 5-7 business days. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement.
11. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact us at support@mohanajewels.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.
12. Lost or Stolen Packages
All orders are shipped insured and require a signature on delivery. Mohana Jewels is not responsible for packages marked as delivered by the carrier but reported missing thereafter. Claims for lost packages must be filed with the carrier directly.
