Manufacturing defects are on us — no time limit, no original-receipt gymnastics, no fuss.
Manufacturing defects
Faulty settings, broken prongs, defective clasps, soldering issues — anything that originated in our workshop is repaired or replaced free of charge.
Prong retipping
Prongs naturally wear over years of wear. We retip and tighten them at no cost when the issue stems from manufacturing.
Inspection & tightening
Send your piece in any time for a complete inspection. We tighten settings, secure stones, and confirm everything is in order — complimentary.
Stone resetting
If a stone loosens due to a manufacturing fault, we reset it free of charge. Lost stones from external causes (impact, snags, accident) are not covered, but we offer fair replacement quotes.

- Manufacturing defects in metalwork or settings

Not Covered
- Lost or stolen pieces
- Lost or missing diamonds from external causes
- Normal wear and tear from regular use
- Damage from impact, accident, or sport
- Discoloration from chemicals, perfume, or makeup
- Repairs, resizing, or polishing done elsewhere
If it’s not covered
If your piece needs work that falls outside the warranty, we'll inspect it, share a transparent price quote for the repair, and proceed only with your written approval. No surprise charges, no obligation.
A note on insurance
The warranty covers manufacturing — not loss, theft, or accident. We strongly recommend insuring your piece separately. Many of our clients use Jewelers Mutual for fast, hassle-free coverage.
How to send it in.

Email us
Write to support@mohanajewels.com with your order number and the word 'Repair' in the subject line. Tell us what's wrong in a sentence.
We respond
A shipping label arrives within one business day, along with packing instructions.
Ship it in
Pack the piece in its original box. Use a staffed carrier counter, never a drop box. Insure to replacement value.
We repair, return
Repairs ship within 7–10 business days. Remakes can take up to 2 weeks. You'll receive tracking on the way back.
Sending it safely.
Packing your piece
- Use the original Mohana packaging if possible.
- Place the inner box inside a second, larger outer box (double-boxing).
- Do not write “jewelry,” “diamonds,” or any related word on the package.
- Drop off in person at a staffed FedEx, UPS, or USPS counter — not a drop box.
- Keep your shipping receipt as proof of insured shipment.
Shipping costs
Shipping costs both ways are charged to the customer for warranty repairs, and a Mohana shipping label can be requested when needed. For all international shipments, customs duties and import fees are the customer’s responsibility — please check with your local customs office.
Repair timing
Standard repairs ship from our workshop within 7–10 business days of receipt. Pieces that require remaking can take up to 2 weeks. We’ll keep you updated by email throughout.
