Every piece by Mohana Jewels is hand-crafted in our Pennsylvania studio and inspected before it ships. We stand behind our craftsmanship with a 6-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects. This page explains exactly what is covered, what is not, and how to make a claim.

What the Warranty Covers
For 6 months from the date of delivery, Mohana Jewels will repair or, at our discretion, replace any piece that exhibits a manufacturing defect, including:
- Stones that come loose from their setting due to faulty setting work
- Prongs that bend or break under normal wear due to defective construction
- Metal cracks not caused by impact or wear
- Discoloration of solid gold or platinum (which indicates a metal issue)
- Clasps, hinges, or closures that fail due to defective construction
- Resizing seams or solder joints that separate within the warranty period (where resizing was performed by Mohana Jewels)
Repairs are performed in our Pennsylvania studio. We cover the cost of repair, materials, and insured shipping in both directions for valid warranty claims.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
The warranty does not cover damage or loss from any of the following:
- Normal wear and tear, including scratches, gradual prong wear, and patina
- Impact damage from dropping, hitting, snagging, or accidental contact
- Lost stones resulting from impact or accident
- Damage from chemicals, including chlorine, bleach, perfumes, lotions, hair products, or cleaning agents
- Damage from wearing the piece during exercise, sleep, swimming, showering, or manual labor
- Damage from unauthorized repair, resizing, modification, or cleaning by a third party
- Pieces resized, engraved, or altered after delivery by anyone other than Mohana Jewels
- Lost, stolen, or misplaced pieces
- Damage caused by improper storage
- Cosmetic variation in stones or metal that falls within standard tolerances of the issuing gemological laboratory
How to Make a Warranty Claim
- Email us within the 6-month window. Send a message to support@mohanajewels.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos showing the defect.
- We'll respond within one business day. If the issue is covered, we'll send a prepaid, insured return shipping label.
- Ship the piece back insured. Pack it in its original box if you still have it.
- We inspect and repair. Our team will assess the piece. Valid warranty repairs typically take 5–10 business days from receipt.
- We ship it back. Insured, signature required, at no cost to you.
If a Claim Is Not Covered
If we determine that the issue is not covered under warranty (for example, impact damage or lost stones from accident), we will:
- Email you a clear explanation of why the issue is excluded
- Provide a quote for paid repair if you'd like us to fix it anyway
- Return the piece to you at no charge if you decline the paid repair
We offer paid repair services on Mohana Jewels pieces beyond the warranty period and for non-warranty damage. Pricing depends on the work required.
Care Instructions
To keep your piece in warranty-eligible condition and looking its best, please follow our Cleaning & Care Guide. In particular:
- Remove your jewelry before exercise, swimming, showering, sleeping, and applying lotions or perfumes
- Store pieces individually in soft pouches or the original box
- Have prongs professionally inspected once a year on rings worn daily
- Avoid contact with chlorine, bleach, abrasive cleaners, and ultrasonic cleaners unless specifically recommended
Limitations
This warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty offered by Mohan Jewels LLC on Mohana Jewels jewelry. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- All other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are disclaimed
- Mohan Jewels LLC's total liability under this warranty is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the affected piece at our discretion
- Mohan Jewels LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including emotional distress, lost time, or loss of value
Nothing in this warranty limits any non-waivable statutory rights you may have as a consumer under applicable law.
Transferability
This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is not transferable. Proof of purchase (order number or order confirmation email) is required for all warranty claims.
Beyond the Warranty Period
After 6 months, Mohana Jewels continues to offer paid repair, refurbishment, and resizing services on our pieces. Contact support@mohanajewels.com for a quote on out-of-warranty work.
