A short, honest guide to caring for your Mohana Jewels pieces. Most of it takes less than a minute. All of it makes the difference between a piece that ages and one that endures.
Every material has its own rhythm.
Diamonds are nearly indestructible. The metal around them isn’t. Here’s what each material asks of you.
The two-minute cleaning ritual.
A gentle routine that safely restores brilliance on any Mohana Jewels piece.
Fill
A small bowl of warm (not hot) water. Add two drops of mild, uncoloured dish soap. That is the entire recipe.
Soak
Lower each piece into the bowl. Let it rest. The soap lifts oils, lotion, and skin residue from around the stones.
Brush
Use a soft baby toothbrush, nothing abrasive. Gently sweep around the stones, under the setting, and along the band.
Dry
Rinse under warm running water (plug the drain, always) and pat dry with a soft, lint-free cloth. Never air-dry near heat.
Never do this
Never use ultrasonic cleaners, steam cleaners, bleach, ammonia, toothpaste, baking soda, or whitening toothpaste at home. They can loosen stones, strip plating, and etch finishes. If a piece needs deeper cleaning, send it to us.
